Training Administrator
The Training Admin department of Espresso Education arranges training for teachers in Espresso subscribing schools. Trainers go into schools to show teachers how to use Espresso in lessons and ensure that they are getting the most out of the service.
The main purpose of the role is to call new and existing subscribing schools and arranging training for the Espresso (primary) and Clipbank (secondary) services. The candidate must therefore enjoy phone work as well as the follow-up administration processes. Tasks include: managing trainer diaries, booking sessions between schools and trainers, communicating with the trainer pre- and post- session, updating information onto our customer database, escalating any issues to appropriate managers/departments.
The role is full time but we are open to job share or part time. The role is office based in Hammersmith although we may consider home working and would decide on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Contacting schools (within regional area; list provided by manager) and making them aware of the benefits of their pre-paid training session
- Supporting the Operations Manager in all aspects of booking schools which will include contacting trainersand contacting schools to confirm training via e-mail, phone, fax or letter
- Taking in-bound calls from schools or trainers for session, rescheduling or cancellations
- Ensuring receipt of trainer's session feedback form and liaising with relevant departments to raise any problems that might have occurred during the session i.e. technical issue, content issue, etc.
- Reconciling and approving trainer invoice; coordinating payment with finance department
- Keep customer database up-to-date with documentation and notes about sessions that have taken place and set actions to book in the next session
The role suits enthusiastic and communicative individual who enjoy phone work. Having continual contact with schools, you will have a personable telephone manner and be able to react efficiently to a dynamic working environment.
Essential
- Highly organised individual with strong attention to detail
- Ability and desire to work to booking targets
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent phone skills, manners, persuasion
- Previous call centre/telesales experience is a plus
Preferable
- Worked in education or a booking/reservation environment
- Proficient in use of various systems like CRM systems, reservation systems etc.
