Deliver high level, classroom-focused ICT training pitched to individual school needs
Exhibit a range of successful ICT learning scenarios that build on best current practice
Support Espresso schools with the successful embedding of the service

This job would suit an educationalist who is able to work flexible hours and be willing to travel within their region. This work is on an ad-hoc basis and therefore not permanent or full time and we are unable to guarantee the amount of work available.

We would also welcome applications from those with experience of working within Key Stage 2 & 3. In addition we are recruiting trainers with experience of working with learning platforms.

Successful candidates must have either a PGCE or a B.Ed qualification as well as experience of teaching the national curriculum within the UK. Espresso regrets that it cannot process applications which do not meet this criterion.

Overall purpose of job

To deliver high level, customer-focused training to individual schools.
To become familiar with course materials appropriate to tailor-made training programmes.
To liaise between customer and the company and communicate information in a clear and effectively documented manner.

Main duties & responsibilities

To create positive and engaging interactions with customers that influence their support and appreciation of Espresso products.
To be the first point of contact in relaying customer comments back to Customer Relations Dept and to Production meetings etc.
To assist in developing case studies to measure pupil's achievement and school's appreciation of the Espresso product.
To assist in the renewal process by working alongside established customers to maximise Espresso's potential in the school environment and to suggest new and improved ways of using the service.

*This role will involve extensive travel within your region and may involve an occasional overnight stay.

* Every trainer will be required to undergo additional training on occasions, both in-house and externally to maintain a good knowledge of the curriculum and additional software and hardware which can be used alongside the Espresso product.

Knowledge, experience & skills required

An in-depth knowledge of the Primary and/or Secondary school curriculum and environment.
At least 3 years' teaching experience, with particular reference to the use of embedding ICT through curriculum subjects.
Must be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for digital resources and the potential they have in raising attainment in the classroom.
Must have a good working knowledge of further PC based applications that can be used alongside Espresso such as Microsoft Office etc, and be willing to train to use those programmes which are not familiar and any other new skills as required.
Must be familiar with interactive whiteboards.
Must have a nationally recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent).
The candidate should have experience working with educationalists throughout school and possibly LA level, and can demonstrate how they have created and maintained good relationships with key individuals.
Should have experience presenting to a larger group through staff Inset or training.
Must be prepared to travel within your region and consequently a driver's license would be desirable.

Preferred but not Essential

Working knowledge of Espresso in teaching and learning.
A training qualification (post graduate) would be desirable.
