Firstly with Home access you need to determine the way you would log onto the Espresso home service. There are generally 4 different ways to access espresso. The Atomwide Home Access system, EMBC Primary Home Access system, Espresso's own Primary Home Access system and the North Tyneside's own LEA solution.
To determine which of these home access systems you should be connecting to please see below:
Atomwide Home Access system
- Buckinghamshire
- Any schools that are on the London Grid for Learning (LGFL)
- Stoke
- West Berkshire
- West Sussex
EMBC
- There are 3 LAs not part of EMBC and do not have access to Epsresso from home - Nottinghamshire, Derby City and Lincolnshire.
Espresso Primary Home Access system
- If the URL you are using to access espresso begins www.espressohome.co.uk then you are connecting through Espresso's own Primary Home Access System.
Accessing the espresso home service
- To logon to your particular home access system find the URL that your area uses and either type it onto your browser or just click it.
If it says the URL is blocked on this list then you will not be able to access the Espresso home access system from within the school.
