Three top Broadband companies collected their awards at IIR's Broadband Content Congress in Barcelona last Tuesday evening.
Winner of the Most Creative Broadband Content Service was NetActive for its flagship product Netactive ReachTM . The Canadian based company provides Digital Rights Management technology and an audience management system, creating new opportunities for broadband companies, content providers and consumers.
Greg Graham, Director of Business Development collected the award on behalf of his company. He commented:

It provides an important point of focus for the broadband content industry and an excellent venue for companies to build relationships with their peers in the digital content community. NetActive were honoured to win an award at the Congress and to be recognised by its peers, particularly in the European Community, for the critical role our technology plays in the content delivery arena.
Winner of the Most Imaginative Reuse of Archive Content was Espresso Productions, a UK based company which delivers broadband educational content to schools. Formed in 1997 by Tony Bowden and Lewis Bronze, Espresso provides curriculum-focused resources for both pupils and teachers in the form of video and multimedia activities.
Media Streaming company, Virage, was the winner of the Most Innovative Broadband Content Network Enabling Technology. Virage, whose headquarters are in California, provide owners of video content with the end-to-end solution for publishing, managing and distributing their video assets over the Internet or corporate Intranets. Their integrated, scalable solution converts video into a web-ready medium that maximises online communication efficiencies and business opportunities.
Over 150 industry professionals attended the Broadband Content Congress, which brought together Content Providers, Carriers, Service Providers and Content Networkers from around the globe.
