As a partner in "MODUS", an Anglo/Italian consortium, Espresso has won substantial sponsorship from the European Space Agency - under the Artes-3 initiative - to help teachers, initially in Italy and England, to get the best out of the Espresso for Schools Broadband curriculum services.
Under the terms of the contract Espresso has designed and built Espresso
for Teachers (EfT). EfT addresses the need for teachers using Espresso
for Schools to have the confidence and competence necessary to make
effective use of ICT in subject teaching. Video rich training materials
cover the ICT skills needed to use EfS in the classroom, raising the
standards of both teachers and pupils.
