This week has been a bumper week for award nominations with Espresso shortlisted for 4 BETT Awards and Netmedia being part of 2 shortlisted submissions for the e-Government Awards.
The prestigious BETT Awards recognise "innovative solutions that the product or service offers to meet the challenges faced by users in the sector specified in the selected category."
Espresso is delighted to have been nominated 4 times in the following categories:-
Aim: To reward exemplary software and content except in the subject areas of English, mathematics, science and ICT at primary phase.
Toy Design KS2 Design & Technology
Espresso French Service KS2 Modern Foreign Languages
Aim: To reward exemplary software and content in any subject area except English, Maths, Science and ICT at secondary phase.
PSHE & Citizenship Service KS3
Aim: To reward products that make a distinct contribution to supporting learners with special educational needs, from early years to post-16 education and training

The e-Government National Awards 2006 highlight the best services improving citizens and business transaction with councils, central government departments and other public sector organisations.
Finalists include a great diversity and spread of achievement in e-Government right across the UK. Netmedia’s Education Portal products have been deployed in the following two initiatives shortlisted for an award:
