Espresso Education is delighted to have been named the winner of the Primary ICT category for the Espresso Primary service at the 2007 ERA awards held last week.
These prestigious industry awards celebrate the very best that the education sector has to offer. The Primary ICT award recognises innovation, value for money and proven ability to meet the needs of teachers and students and make an impact in the classroom – qualities that are at the heart of the Espresso Primary service.
On receiving this new addition to the Espresso trophy cabinet, CEO Lewis Bronze proudly remarked:

This award is testament not only to the quality of the editorial content of the service but the skills and knowledge of our multimedia and technical team in delivering reliable digital resources. Judging Criteria
Now in their tenth successful year, The Education Resources Awards highlight the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, excellent educational establishments and the most dedicated members of the teaching profession and supplies industry, all working together to encourage the very best in education.
Each application must be supported by at least two testimonials from schools or colleges satisfying a range of criteria, such as:
- the innovative nature of the resource
- the impact on learning and the work of the teacher in the classroom, to what extent and in which areas
- how the resource supports or enhances the everyday life or work of teachers, pupils or schools
- cost effectiveness in terms of educational aims and results
Other honours recently bestowed on the Espresso Primary Service and Espresso Education include:
- ‘Highly Commended’ at the 2007 BETT Awards
- Silver Award - European Seal of Excellence of e-Excellence
- Winner of 2006 Learning on Screen Award
