Netviewer is a remote access tool that allows Espresso Education to view and take control of a computer in your school. This then allows Espresso Education to quickly troubleshoot any technical issues. Meanwhile you are observing the session from your school watching what is being done by the Espresso Support Team.

You are allowing Espresso Education to view and remotely control this PC. Espresso Education will have the same rights, to view and change any settings, as the currently logged on user, however any configuration changes to the PC or other devices on the network will only be made with your permission. As soon as the session is cancelled Espresso Education no longer has access to this PC.

The data of a Netviewer session is encoded when transmitted (Blowfish algorithm with 128 bits). This corresponds to SSL encoding. Furthermore, the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology (SIT), located in Darmstadt, Germany, has tested Netviewer and confirmed that it is secure.
Netviewer software comes with a presigned safety certificate from VeriSign Commercial Software Publishers CA, the worldwide leader in this sector. Thus any potential tampering with the software by third parties becomes immediately apparent.
